CBD is extracted from a plant, rather than synthesized in a lab. Broad-spectrum hemp distillate, such as what we use to make SimpliSolve CBD sheets, contains additional beneficial molecules made by the hemp plant in addition to CBD, known as minor cannabinoids and terpenes. Because even genetically identical plants can vary slightly in their production of these molecules depending on different growing conditions, a small amount of variance is to be expected between one batch to the next. To ensure that we are providing an effective product that is consistently high quality, we test every batch of CBD Vet Products at three separate steps in production through independent laboratories, and we provide a complete Certificate of Analysis (COA) for our final product.

What is in a Certificate of Analysis?

For optimal transparency, our COAs include the cannabinoid profile (how much CBD, THC, and minor cannabinoids are present), terpene profile (these are the molecules that give hemp its distinct smell), and contaminants, including heavy metals, pesticides, and microorganisms like yeast and bacteria. You can be assured that our products contain high levels of cannabinoids and are free of these nasty contaminants.
